Who we are
Titrate is a board-prep study app for medical residents and students. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account. Your name, email, and (if you use Sign in with Apple) your Apple account identifier. Used to create your account and sync your progress across devices. You can use the app without an account, with progress stored on your device.
- Profile. Your specialty and board(s), training year, exam target, optional exam date, and daily reminder time. Used to tailor your cases and reminders.
- Your answers. The typed, free-text responses you write to clinical cases, and the AI feedback and scores generated from them. Used to grade your answers and build your knowledge map.
- Usage and progress. Attempts, mastery estimates, streaks, and similar learning data, plus limited, de-identified in-app events (for example, that a case was graded) used to understand and improve the product.
We do not ask for, and you should not enter, real patient-identifying information into your answers.
Voice. A hands-free voice mode is not available yet. Today, answers are typed. If and when voice launches, spoken audio would be converted to a text transcript for grading and the transcript treated like any other answer; we will update this policy before any voice feature collects audio.
How we use it
To grade your answers and build your knowledge map, send the daily reminder you chose, operate and secure your account, and improve the product in aggregate.
Who we share it with (service providers)
- Anthropic processes the text of a single case and your answer to generate grading feedback. Your answer is sent as data to be graded, not to identify you.
- Apple provides Sign in with Apple and App Store services.
- Supabase provides database and authentication hosting for your account and progress.
- RevenueCat and the App Store handle subscription billing (only once subscriptions are enabled).
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account; this removes your profile, answers, and progress.
Your choices
Decline or revoke notification permissions in system settings at any time, turn off reminders in the app, and delete your account as described above. For access or export requests, contact us at the email below.
Children
Titrate is intended for medical trainees and professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We will update this policy as the app evolves and revise the date above.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data, including access, export, or deletion requests: use the contact form on titrateapp.net, or the support option in the app. We respond to the email address you provide.
